Some of the best hockey players in California have played in the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League.  Several of those players have moved on to play college and advanced junior hockey. The league continues to grow and is fast becoming a power house in California, with a number of former players now playing hockey in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern Hockey League (EHL), North American Hockey League (NAHL), United States Hockey League (USHL), and the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) among others.  The the following website for the latest list of ADHSHL Alumni.

Additionally, we are fortunate to have two home-grown Orange County, CA coaches with significant US and Canadian Hockey developmental experience.  Ice Kings Head Coach Lucas Romero play for the Junior A level Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Canada Hockey League.  He then went on to play NCAA college hockey for Westfield State University in Massachusetts, while Assistant Coach Troy Mytinger played hockey for the Schrieber Diesels of the Superior International Junior Hockey League, and then for the Junior A level Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Canada Hockey League, and then  college at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
